THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE .. when Steve Bannon pushed that line to then "candidate Trump", I thought it was a political campaign ploy.  But, now it is blatantly obvious in almost EVERY story pushed by the LOSER media.  This whole FAKE Emergency surrounding ICE Deportations is this weeks PRIME Example of FAKE NEWS. The loser news covered things like Illinois Senator Dick Durbin saying, "he has never seen this level of fear in Chicago". They covered the Mayor of LA saying, "when they come for you, you do not have to open the door unless they have a court order or a warrant.  We are in this together. We stand with you".  So, look at what's happened here. A manufactured "Crisis". Why is it a "Manufactured"?? Because, NO ONE IS COMING FOR THEM.  The fake news media and the Trump hating Democrats made ALL immigrants believe that ICE was "Coming for them". They were NOT. The targets of the ICE raids are criminals with court ordered deportation rulings. A few thousand..not "millions" of illegals.  The LA Mayor isunnecessarily scaring people and then making it look like HE is the one helping them!!!!.. in a blatant attempt to curry favor with the illegals and win their (eventual) votes !!  There are NO ICE agents coming for people that don't have warrants or court orders!!!  The thing that makes me MOST angry about this whole situation is that he made me say, "Curry Favor".  GEEZZ..Who says that????? What a dopey, has-been, dorky expression!!! ..and he made me use it!!!!! ..and Dick Durbin, "REALLY??"  The "Level of Fear" in Chicago?  You have"never seen it this high?"  Really?  They have a few dozen shootings a week there.  But, those are AMERICANS.  So, I guess that's not a problem?  You don't think the women and children in those neighborhoods spend EVERY DAY in fear of gangs and drug dealers that rape, shoot and murder people? 154 shot in July and 22 dead.. Year to date? 1406 shot and 274 dead. How about representing the AMERICANS in your State and not Central Americans?....and.. on the OTHER side of the coin .. IGNORING the REAL story of deportations.  Did any of you see Joe Biden get harassed this weekend at a campaign rally?  A few places covered it, but it wasn't FRONT page news in the Loser Media world.  Biden was accosted by a man whose wife was deported during the Obama/Biden Administration.  The man (who needed an interpreter) demanded that Biden apologize.  You see, LOTS more people were deported under the Obama Administration than under Trump.  Hard to believe because you are constantly bombarded by the Loser Media with how Trump is racist, xenophobic, and hates immigrants (Fact Check: He is married to one).  But, go look it up.  The same "Advocacy Groups" that are trying to protect Illegal immigrants called Obama, "The Deporter in Chief".  Go look.  This is all true. Google it.  Bing it.  Yahoo it..  Then do our Country a favor.  Sign as many friends up for the RANT as you can.  The Future of our Republic just might depend on it ...

In the World, France had their Bastille Day celebrations. (Well, we call it Bastille Day.. they call it "La Fête nationale").  Basically, its a "France is Great" day. They had a cool military exhibition with an armed soldier flying around on one of those "personal hoverboard" things that look like magic carpet skateboards.  Then, of course, they had the riots.. 150 were arrested after rioting and setting fires ... then.. over in Hong Kong there were more protests and violence as the "activists" are not taking the "Extradition Bill is off the table" as an answer.  They want Leader Carrie Lam to resign.  Careful what you wish for boys and girls. She may be a puppet for the Mainland Chinese Government. But, the new puppet might be WAY worse!!! .. and ...in Puerto Rico (and YES, I realize Puerto Rico is part of America.. but, I am doing the SWAMP news next and I have nowhere else to put this story). In Puerto Rico, a "Group Chat" was made public that had a dozen Government Officials, friends of Government Officials, and the FREAKIN GOVERNOR and BOY is it embarrassing.  It has it ALL.  Corruption, racist and homophobic jokes, sharing classified information with friends that are not Government officials, Fraud concerning Medicaid and Educational Money from the USASix arrests, a 32-count indictment, two resignations of top Government officials..and.. Calls for the Governor to Resign.  He is pulling the "I was elected by the people and I am staying" line.  If you think it was tough getting aid from the White House before, good luck now, Governor Rosello!!

In the Swamp, The latest Trump-Thumb-in-mouth Tweet was our President coming down on the Socialist Congresswomen who care more about other countries than our own.  The Bloviator-in-Chief said that the countries these women are from are disasters and if they want to do things the way they are done in those places they should go back.   His exact words were the Congresswomen "originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe", and then told them they should "Go Back". Now, of course, he meant the countries of their families lineage (Palestine, Somalia, Puerto Rico -again, yes, I know that's also America..but.. their local political system is a mess) ..But the Tweet was badly worded and makes the President look bad.  The Loser Media spent the weekend calling Trump Racist.. Trump's advisors spent the weekend saying, "your economy is strong, your approval rating is strong, your Democratic Opponents have little to run on and are cannibalizing themselves.  Can you let them implode and stop Tweeting and giving them things to attack you forHow do you think that went?  Trump then sent out tweets slamming Democrats for supporting their "America Hating Socialists" instead of Americans.  This will play to his base, middle of the road people are tiring of the divisive rhetoric. ..

..and .. a RIP to Sgt Major James G. Sartor, 40. In what SHOULD be Front page news on every website and every newspaper, Sgt Major Sartor was killed in action in Afghanistan.  I would like to say to the Sartor Family and to all of our Military Families: MOST of America is with you. We support you and thank you for the sacrifices you make for our Country. YOU are what is important. Not illegal immigrants, not whining Congressmen, not stupid protests over shoes with Flags on them, and not Selfish, spoiled brat Athletes that live under the safety and security that you provide and then chose to complain that everything is not perfect.  RIP Sgt Major Sartor.  Thank you for your service and sacrifice so that this American Ranter can complain about the idiots in the world and live his life in a great Republic.

SPORTS: "Epic" .. "Historic" .. "Heart Breaking" .. 37 year old Roger Federer had TWO chances to pull it off.  He had TWO serves for the match.  But, Djokovic came up big TWICE then put it away in a 5 set, extra time, 5th Set to win Wimbledon.  Is that it for Federer?  I say, "No" ..but if he wins a major again it's gonna have to be Wimbledon next year.  He can't beat Nadal on Clay (French Open) and the Australian and US Opens favor the youngsters with the massive serves .. The Women's side was less dramatic.  Simona Halepsoundly beats Serena Williams 6-2, 6-2. The story of their match was certainly, "Unforced Errors".  Williams had 26 and Halep had 3.  .. GOLF: Dylan Fritelli wins the Deere for his first PGA Tour Win and an invitation to this weeks Open Championship in Northern Ireland.  Bernd Weisberger wins the Scottish Open...and BEEEEF Johnston finishes 4th and gets an invitation to the OPEN.. and England wins its First Ever Cricket World Cup with a win over New Zealand!!!  The Final game even came down to a "Final Super Over" !!!!!   I have NO IDEA what that means, but the Cricket Reporters seem to be REALLYexcited about it so it must be a cool thing!!

CELEBRIDIOTS:  ..continuing the "Wimbledon Vibe" .. in addition to the excitement of the Federer/Djokovic match we had the "Woody Cam".  During the lengthy Doubles Final the cameramen kept cutting back to the crowd reactions..and mostly to the reactions of American Actor Woody Harrelson.  Harrelson arrived a little tipsy..and got worse and worse as the match went on (those British Bartenders can do that to you).  By the end of the match the exhausted players laid down on the Court!! But, a plastered Woody was still standing!!! HERE .. and.. Sadly, Ex-Met Legend Dwight Gooden was arrested, again, in NJ on possession of cocaine charges. The guy could have been one of the best ever.  His story is a sad and far too common one.  A kid with talent comes from poverty and is handed millions in a big city. Sad .. .. and.. we ALL SAW THIS COMING.. Two days after a Spanish judge ruled a 42 year old man was the son of Singer/Womanizer Julio Iglesias..we have... THE CIVIL SUIT.  The former ballerina is suing for $314 million because she slept with Julio and he split.  He has never seen the kid or admitted the guy is his son.  I get the "reparations" concept..but how do you come up with $314 Million?  Why not, $250mm? or $500mm?  What is magical about $314?  ...  and..  We're going to declare Lucy Watson the WINNER of Wimbledon, 2019.  HERE .. Pippa Middleton certainly looked great when they cut to her on TV.  But, I couldn't find any good photos of her.. So, Congrats Lucy!!  ..and next time give me your REAL cell number when you leave in the morning.  I tried texting that, 867-5309 number you gave me but it's some girl named, "Jenny".

Weakened by trade tensions with the U.S., China's economic growth decelerated in the second quarter to its slowest pace since 1992, growing by 6.2% and prompting expectations of more stimulus. The data was weighed down by an impasse in negotiations that shattered hopes for a trade deal in late May, though President Trump and Xi Jinping got discussions back on track by the end of June. Separate economic figures handily topped forecasts as the country’s industrial output grew 6.3% in June from a year earlier, while retail sales surged 9.8%. The Shanghai Composite closed up 0.4% following the news.

Big banks start reporting Q2 earnings today and investors will be closely watching for signs of how much the Fed’s change in rate policy could hurt the banking business. The rate curve has also been flattening, making it harder for lenders to drive profit through the difference between long- and short-term interest rates. Ahead of the results, U.S. stock index futures are pausing for breath following a record-setting performance on Wall Street last week.

Along with the banks, several major tech names like Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) and Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) will deliver quarterly stats this week, setting the tone for the rest of Q2 earnings season. Consensus analysts expect an about 1% year-over-year decline in aggregate earnings per share for the second quarter, amid deteriorating economic indicators. It's good to note that Wall Street analysts were similarly despondent heading into the Q1 earnings season, but companies ultimately outperformed.

Shoppers will be clicking away over the next 48 hours as Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) extends Prime Day to a two-day event, while Target (NYSE:TGT), Walmart (NYSE:WMT) and eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY) capitalize on the online traffic with sales of their own. Amazon, which sold over 100M products over Prime Day 2018, did not give sales totals in dollars and likely won’t this year, though IgnitionOne estimates the retail giant will generate sales of $6.1B (a $2B improvement over last year). That's one reason for Amazon's surging share price, which climbed over 460% in the last five years by outpacing retail rivals.

American Airlines (NASDAQ:AAL) has extended Boeing (NYSE:BA) 737 MAX cancellations for the fourth time, but "remains confident that impending software updates, along with the new training elements, will lead to recertification of the aircraft this year." That's despite being the next MAX operator to extend cancellations into early November. Based on a history of previous delays and unexpected technical challenges, other analysts and officials see a January 2020 timeline as more realistic. BA -1.2% premarket.

Hurricane Barry made landfall in Louisiana as a Category 1 storm on Saturday before being downgraded to a tropical storm. Some 1.3M bbl/day, or 70%, of oil production and 1.5B cf/day, or 55%, of natural gas output in the Gulf of Mexico was shut-in, with total southeast natural gas production falling to its lowest level of the year, according to the U.S. Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement. Barry is still on course to run directly into the Louisiana portion of the Haynesville Shale, where flooding could lead to a temporary decline in production.

Disney's (NYSE:DIS) The Lion King hauled in $54.7M during its China debut, higher than the openings of Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin. The strong opening abroad is a good sign for Disney as critics had mixed feelings ahead of the film's North American debut on July 19. Even if the film does underperform its estimated $175M-$200M opening weekend, expectations are that the film will have a long run in theaters this summer and into the fall.

The U.S. may approve licenses for companies to re-start new sales to Huawei in as little as two weeks, according to Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross. It's a sign President Trump's recent effort to ease restrictions on the Chinese telecom equipment supplier could move forward quickly amid chip industry lobbying, coupled with Chinese political pressure. Out of $70B that Huawei spent buying components in 2018, some $11B went to U.S. firms including Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM), Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) and Micron Technology (NASDAQ:MU).

The Trump administration late Friday issued final rules to freeze a 2016 Obama-era regulation that more than doubled penalties for automakers failing to meet fuel efficiency requirements. Congress in 2015 ordered federal agencies to adjust a wide range of civil penalties to account for inflation and, in response, the NHTSA issued rules to eventually raise fines to $14 from $5.50 for every 0.1 mile per gallon of fuel that new cars and trucks consume in excess of the required standards. Automakers, including General Motors (NYSE:GM), Volkswagen (OTCPK:VWAGY), Toyota (NYSE:TM), Fiat Chrysler (NYSE:FCAU) and others protested the hike, saying it could increase industry compliance costs by $1B annually.

A chunk of New York City plunged into darkness Saturday evening as 73,000 customers on Manhattan's West Side, as well as subways, stores and Broadway theaters, lost power. While the city’s main utility, Con Edison (NYSE:ED), restored electricity within hours, Governor Andrew Cuomo ordered an investigation into the incident, saying he would hold "all parties accountable." No deaths or injuries were reported due to the outage, which occurred 42 years to the day from a major 1977 blackout that sparked looting and rioting across NYC.
